Souveniers not showing in profile stats

I have no souveniers showing in my profile stats or showing I have any souveniers though I have over 300. When I look to show the souveniers  in the profile box for the dashboard it says they are "hidden due to user's privacy settings". I have tried to alter this to show them but can not see how to achieve this. Can you please help me out here as to what needs to be done.
