There appears to be a new format when I go into the Map Counties feature. I'm not sure how to use it. In addition, the cachetur assistant is not showing on the map when I look at the counties. I'm not sure what is happening! Please help. It's the same on Firefox and Chrome.

Project-GC recently made a significant change to its interface. To use the MapCounties tool, you can:

  • Use the filters in the "Filter (Pre)" section to set the region and geocaches of interest. For example, if you are trying to find an Multi-cache in every county of Georgia, you would set a "Location" filter of "United States, Georgia" and a "Type" filter of "Multi-cache".
  • Use the filters in the "Filter (Post)" section to control the geocaches that are suggested (note that you must select a county in order to do so). For example, if you want to get suggestions for Multi-caches to find in Cherokee County (GA), and you also want to limit the suggestions to only those at most Terrain 3, then you can set the "County" to "Cherokee County (GA)" and apply a "Terrain" filter and shift-click to select terrains 1.0 to 3.0.
The Cachetur assistant being broken is an unfortunate consequence of these changes. However, there's nothing that Project-GC can do to fix that; it will be up to Cachetur to fix their assistant to understand these new changes to Project-GC. (I anticipate that they may have already released a fix.)
