Hello!

I may have a little weird question, but it confuses me a bit so need to hear if more people have the problem or if I missed something or that I'm doing something wrong.

Just bought a new laptop with touch screen. Went to PGC to search around the map and was surprised that I could not use it for the purpose of zooming or moving on it using the screen. Instead, it zooms in on the entire page, but not the map itself. Uses Chrome and has also tried Edge with the same results. The map on GC.com works on it and Google maps itself.

Tried Chrome on the phone too and it works there for the PGC map. What could be the cause?

/Thanks!

Have you seen this question in the forum: https://project-gc.com/qa/?qa=16865/live-map-filters-do-not-respond-to-touch-events&show=16865#q16865

I'm not sure if anything inside that link will help you but I figured it doesn't hurt to send it your way.

I gave this some thought and since no one else has answered, I decided to give you my ideas.  Since other devices do work, it seems to me that something with your new laptop is not set up right or could also be out of date.  Have you checked to make sure you have updated drivers?  You might consider trying the most recent version of Firefox.  Keep in mind this is pure speculation on my part since I don't have a touch screen and haven't encountered that problem.

Thanks for the answer!

I don't think it has to do with the laptop as everything else seems to work well with it. Talked to a friend who is good at computers and he thinks there may be some programming on the page that does not seem to be compatible with touch screen.

Since I haven't received any response from any of the developers, does this topic seem pretty new? Can't find the question from anyone else here in the forum either. Have to wait and see what happens.
I edited my answer and added a link after doing a search on the forum.  I'm not sure if it will help you but it doesn't hurt to point it out.
I tried the steps in the link you gave. But it did not help. The search continues ;-).

Thanks for trying to help!
