Now that Lab Caches are are partially supported in PGC, these FAQ entries need updating:

What about Lab caches?

We will get to that, but we would like to start working on the next phase before that. Or to be more exact, know what the next phase will include. Without details, lab caches will be implemented in Profile stats. To what level I can not say right now.

It's not likely they will be affecting anything else at Project-GC.
